1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using ClearAnalytics, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service.
2. Description of Service
ClearAnalytics provides privacy-first web analytics services. We offer a tracking script that website owners can install on their websites to collect anonymized usage data, and a dashboard to view analytics reports.
3. Account Registration
To use ClearAnalytics, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the service to track personal data beyond what the script collects
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
5. Subscription and Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
6. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all analytics data collected through your websites. We process this data solely to provide the analytics service. Upon account deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
8. Limitation of Liability
ClearAnalytics is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
